Cities collapse into chaos as the Ravager virus mutates all infected into bloodthirsty Ravagers. You and a handful of others form the Last Line of Defense, pooling your remaining stockpile of weapons, special ammo, bunker defenses, and superweapons to fend off the onslaught. Survive 25 waves of Ravager hordes and keep your bunker from falling. If your bunker falls, the Line falls. If the Line falls, humanity falls. (Rated 13+: Blood, Violence)

Damn jumpers!

Having played through 5 times now, I really do enjoy the game, but it has been ruined by the "jumpers". Those guys do too much damage, considering all the do is jump.

If you're going to give a bad guy that much attack strength, you have to either make them easier to kill or less plentiful. When 7 or 8 of them appear at once, it's game over. Even using the special powers, the stronger ones are too expensive to use often enough to control them.

But I do otherwise like the game. SO I'll rate an 8, dropping 2 for bad difficulty curve, and not being able to enjoy the game to the fullest as a result.

Panic can set in pretty quickly.

It sucked that I couldn't buy health items if the ones I'd used were recharging. A serious disadvantage. Other than that it's an awesome game. Cheers.

Good challenge

The game never felt undoable, although I agree that the guns are overpriced compared to some of the other items. A problem I had, I dunno if this was just me or if this was intentional game design, but whenever I filled my hotkey slots for any purchase item, the game wouldn't allow me to overwrite a hotkey. So even though getting the Defense Engineer item in the first few waves was okay, it became virtually useless later on and yet I couldn't swap it out for Composite Shields or Heavy Repairs no matter how hard I tried. That, actually, was what killed me. I had the money available but I literally could not purchase the better items that would have allowed me to to survive to the end.
