Well, maybe Nick was complex...
Or maybe he was just a vehicle for the author to put himself and his own opinions about the character into the book. In my opinion, the author (F. Scott Fitzgerald, if I recall?) is basically Nick.

Thanks for the review and the high score although I think Fitzgerald might have been more in the category of the rich as opposed to Nick who has less luxuries than him.
