A little Idea I had based on my own life experiences.. kinda.
The Story of a guy who packs Boxes for a living.
I'll try and answer every review.
Edit:- wow daily 4th, didn't expect that. thanks for the votes and the reviews :)
That unbelievable bastard machine.
I really thought that this would be a horror animation .. thanks to SilverFell here .. gbut nice idea overall .. especially the part where the new guy comes in .. Gotta love masochism ..
thanks its always nice to read what people think about your ideas and thanks for taking the time to write a review :)
sorry to be a semantic, but how could he survive 37 years later without eating or sleeping? lol But.. on the animation, good animation. Nice use of black and white color to represent the monotony and lack of color of the degrading and menial task the protagonist has to undertake. Might be a reflection on the unfortunate lives of people who have to work similar sorts of jobs just to survive. Very impressive, hope to see more from you :)
I was going to add some short bits of animation showing the machine feeding him and stuff but I couldn't really come up with anything apart form him being connected to the machine being fed with tubes and such. if I make a sequel I'll add more details.
thanks for the review
Too much like my day job
And with returns, you wonder if it's being shipped anywhere to begin with.
Life is boring, so we created jobs to give us less time to be bored.
My job is basically this animation and I'm sure that every item we pack and send out of the door just gets returned a couple of days later, unpacked and then put back on a shelf to be repacked again a few days later.
or maybe I'm just paranoid :)
thanks for the ten
Loved the concept and idea. Format and execution were well paced and executed.
What I'm missing here is one final chilling scene that brings the whole thing into focus, something like the dead worker being recycled, to make those whatevers that he's stuffing into the box - something to hammer the horror of it in.
Just nitpicking there - solid effort, well done!
I kinda wanted to leave some things up to peoples imaginations, Maybe I should do a "the packer 2" and go deeper into the idea
Four dwarven leaders in search for ancient treasure.
A Mystery Noir Series... Episode 6: Detective Swift confronts The Big Bad Wolf
Goofy dies. Sora cries.
