This is actually pretty good. I mean, it'd nice if you could start each wave with one/all of the weapon upgrades from each level before it when you start at a later level. Also, the lack of a 'you died' or 'game over' interlude makes it feel a bit weird. The lack of healing drops, ever, also makes this a bit harder than it actually needs to be and I personally would like if you at least made one health drop every 3 levels or so.
I did in fact enjoy this. What I did not like was that it got a bit repetitive. It was basically just me shooting the same enemies over and over. I prefer the "Thing-Thing" series. It's good to know you came back with that stuff. I did, however, like when I could just go across and shoot them all at once.
That was true fun. It helps that the graphics are quite nice. You really do get a good use of space with how little everything is. I think the music was nice too. It was fun hearing all those guys get hit over and over.
face it weasel as one of your many fans and name myself after you wether you like to make thing thing or not its what your good at and there is no reason to stop a good thing (no pun intended) what im trying to tell you is i hope you feel like you could make more thing thing without feeling like your forced to :/ i love you weasel andi want to see you come back shining at your full potential wether its thing thing or a first run game because you can do so much better then this what about a fluffestein game or a stinky bean?
wel its good but redshift is beter
Although it is a nice solid shooter, it feels a little weak on the side when compared to it's older brother games Redshift and Blueshift. The background seems to loop endlessly and is very unappealing to look at for long periods of time. And the "upgrades" are very sparse and always the same. I feel like you should of saved this as an easter egg of sorts for the next game in the Shift series. It would have been a little better and people would appreciate the gesture.
