The video itself isn't at all what I'd hoped it would be. Sadly, most of the original work for it was lost when a virus infected my computer. So I had to begin over and still make a deadline. I was forced to cut about 3 scenes from the original concept and a good lot of the animation isn't nearly what I'd wanted in terms of quality, but that's life for you.
One good thing that came out of this was the fact that I won the video competition I had submitted this to. I recieved a gift certificate as well as managed to catch the eye of one of the judges, who offered to give me a recomendation as well as the opportunity to see how animation is done in the field during the summer. It was also requested that my work be submitted to another festival even though no other entries should have been accepted.
So, all in all, I'd say it was a pretty adequate week.
I'll admit, the colour sweep at the end was the most time consuming portion of this ordeal, but it was also my most favorite, and certainly the most complicated.
I have to turn away during the kiss however. Too cheesy for my tastes.
