Team Mohawk Dairy!

Our handicap was that all graphics had to be created OUTSIDE of flash.
We went with a hand drawn and scanned, classic retro feel.

Everything was created in 72 hours.
The story was written in 72 hours.
The art was done in 72 hours.

Great story, could use a few minor improvements

I really like the plot and the humor, and the illustration is very good. Nice atmosphere from the music too.
Just a few minor complaints:
-There are some spelling issues.
-There should be a button to skip each section of dialogue, since they're pretty long, you see many of them multiple times, and it takes two clicks to get through each piece.
-On that topic, I don't see the point of the slow appearance of the letters. It's not fast enough to be faster than reading speed, and it doesn't really have any advantages over having the whole section of text appear at once (which would also cut in half the number of clicks required).
-There are some plot inconsistencies due to reuse of scenes - for example, I shot Norm at the beginning and then later he was alive (I thought he was a zombie or vampire [which was reinforced by Orion not appearing in the mirror] at first) and Orion shot him.
But yeah, those things don't detract much from the overall experience. Great work!

great work in under 72 hourse

you've accomplished a lot in those 72 hours, the graphics are simplistic but effective, the story was intriguing, the multiple endings are all fascinating, especially the true ending, the music fits the story and setting very well. Overall a great game. Now the suggestions, i think it's better if you drew more pics for the lines rather than having one picture for a whole bunch of lines so there's more pacing and people won't complain about having to many words. Also having more control of the characters would be appreciated> There were times where i though i could choose what the the protagonist can do and it turns out that he chose it for me, for example, should i trust orion at the first place, or what dialogue should i choose to say when in a conversation. I think that it will be a more immersive experience. Oh and definitely add a go back to last choice button so that i don't have to repeat the whole thing again. But really, you and the other two have created something really nice in just a short time, i'm really looking forward to what you have to offer us in the futre ;)

ps and i love all the cultural references too, lol at the mansion that whips it hair back and forth

it was good

but no negative consequence for killing the groundskeeper? i gotta dock a point for that. it also would have been nice to skip to the first choice after you start over... anyway. it was good. id like to see more maybe.

You spelled Manor wrong.

But I love the art style, as well as the story. I actually found it quite amusing, if not cliche'd at times. You handled the handicap well.
