Not bad
The movement is alright but there seems to be a problem with pushing against the boundary which seems to make the game freeze up a bit.
By the way this is meant to be an example, it's not meant to be some kind of full game, sorry to bore some people! Though I intend to take feedback and build on this to make future versions with more interaction added as I go along.
My first practice at animating a character to move around. While it's also a good practice of my Actionscript 3 Object Orientated Programming skills that I've been trying to work on for about a year now.
Pretty much works like this,,,
if your holding an arrow key down, then Elic is moving (aswd also works). If he isn't holding an arrow key down, then he is not moving and will stand still.
If his horizontal or vertical position, hits certain boundaries, his horizontal or vertical movement is halted, if he's also pressing an arrow key, meaning he's still trying to move, then his pushing animation is used.

IT looks good, and since its a test i wont get on about it being boring.
NOTE if u press up and down at the same time he doesnt move same for left and right
Thanks for finding that out! I never knew that happened! Its kinda funny watching him walk on the spot.
