love it , and you need to pay my eye docter cuz focussing on dodging bullets is hard on your eyes
thats the point that you can navigate through the bullets how else would it be able to beat , go to youtube search for hardest boss battle or Mushihimesama thats where this game is based off i think
Before I played this, I had almost no interest in Bullet Hell games. Now, I think I may just have to download Touhou or something.
Although I found it a bit too hard simply because I haven't played any Bullet Hell games before, from a purely gameplay-based standpoint, it's almost perfect. I for one wanted a bit more of a story, perhaps some explanation to the characters. The patterns were simple, but challenging, and the bomb effects were a joy to behold. Well done.
I usually tend to hate bullet hell like games, but this one got me. When I saw 3 heart challenge I refused to fail it :) Anyway, Most useful overall is Matt (imo), most useless overall is a tie between all 3 unlockable characters. Sorry, Lance is too narrow of an attack, Natz' sub weapon is a bit too weak, and Ana I just didn't care for at all (was kinda like a Lance/Natz mix....) NoLegs was fun though! He and Matt are awesome, but Matt's sub is a little close, which is where NoLegs comes out ahead sometimes, but anyway they're both great
When I wrote this review I had 7 medals left to get :P Shame they mean nothing in game though like EBF3, they're just a "woohoo".
Saying what you'd need to do to unlock something (say, a character, or a bonus level) would be nice.
Love how the final boss looks, shame can barely see him over his zillion and a half bullets (:P)
I seriously need something to do with the money. 100k as of this writing and I've got all of the upgrades.
Don't like writing reviews any more because it's a 1 time thing, can't change what you said later...but I just loved this for some reason =D
Can't stop playing!
I have touhou on my computer, I can play hard if i try my hardest and just barely make it using all continues. And in that game, the bullets dissapear after defeating a boss. But, even though, those "flaws" are not a problem. I can easily focus well enough to avoid being "doomed". Maybe it's just a preference rather than a flaw. practice?
Also, really? the crab boss? I had no problem beating it or getting around its waves of bullets.
Anyway, the upgrades for this game add a very nice, "chance" at winning. like I said, i can barely play HARD mode on Touhou, so I can feel the satisfaction of being given a chance. I like how it's still challenging as fuck even after all the upgrades. has a lot of replay value and that's never bad. I'm interested to see another shooter or bullet hell game, specifically, coming from you.
