This game is just awsome, any thing whit pokemon is just awsome. The only game i remember from my childhood is pokemon, so when you make a TD that is about pokemon i am just sold :D
Good game, but needs work (obviously).
Enjoy the game. Some of the abilities actually seem to make more sense in a tower defense scenario. Of course, being an alpha, it'll be without polish in certain places. On that note, the two things that bother me in this game are:
1. The exp system seems spotty. It seems like exp is awarded based on an enemy you hit dying. However, when trying to level weaker pokemon, they'd hit an enemy, it'd die, and sometimes no exp was awarded. Could be me missing something. Just pointing it out.
2. This is the part that caused me to give an 8/10 instead of a 10/10. Water, and Grass were woefully under-powered. I don't know about vulpix, since I picked charmander, but the only options were bellsprout for grass and poliwag for water. Even at 36, my poliwrath could body slam the team rocket charizard for more damage than his bubblebeam would do. And since the only anti-ground type available is grass, I tried to use victreebel. However, even at 36, its vine whip did less damage than just slapping a sandslash with a normal attack or psychic.
I know there're balance issues. But the whole point of pokemon is type advantage. And if two of the main types are functionally worthless, its a problem.
This is a really awesome game. I have a shiny Mew! Charizard and Blastoise and Venesaur, level 36,too. I think this game can get 5 stars.
