A nice flash tutorial to help those who want to be creators at the time, I thank you for you effort and kindness. Though it's obviously dated now, I'm sure this helped quite a few people back then.

this is a easy way to make a preloader that tells you
total bytes
total bytes
loaded bytes
remaining bytes
percent done
and has a bar loader.
You must have flash 5 or MX to do this. it doesnt work in flash 4
this is part 1 of the series i am goin to be doin, i am currently learning action script, so i will add more things when i learn more.

Youi can now copy the code and use it in your preloader, thanks to everyone that thinks dis is alright. And piss off everyone who thinks this is a waste of there time. Why did you see it in the first place then, you must of known it was a tutorial on percentage loaders, so dont say i wasted your time, you wasted ya own bloody time.
It was alright but didnt provide any visual examples during the lessons it was too basic

Wow well on a helpful front you seem to be a very nice person, but on this flash... errr it wasnt the nicest tutorial ive seen better graphics and maybe some screenshots and amybe some background music

Seems like it should work, and I appreciate that you tried. Why have you not used this in any of your flash so far? It could be a little more pleasing on the eys, use some better colors.
