i used to play this game in the past and its still good
but too laggy,,,
I used to play this on StickPage a bunch. Actually, I think the one on StickPage, and the one here on Newgrounds, are two different versions - I think the shotgun does more damage here, as I'm sure it used to take two shots to take out the first two basic zombie types with it.
This has a fun gameplay loop, shooting and quickly switching between weapons, satisfying kill animation and sound being the cherry on top. The points to money system is unique, rewarding those with knowledge and skill with higher scores at the end, depending on when the player stops converting points.
Fun fact: you can have John aim, and fire, upwards - this has no reason to be included, as no enemies ever come from anywhere higher then straight ahead; firing the pistol diagonal also makes a sound different from normal, not sure what that is about, just wanted to point out.
Managed to get to level 21 with just the knife, after that it becomes impossible because of the gas mask guys, would have been 10 times easier if the tentacle zombies' hitbox wasn't broken.
If anyone else want to try it i would probably recommend saving the pistol ammo and the 2 flashes, i used them early to stun zombies but still managed to get to level 21, also you will die a lot if you try this, but it is possible.
