Hey! In case you haven't noticed, this is my second submission to newgrounds, but my first game. I know there's a bunch of stuff wrong with it but I'm really lost in the coding and fonts due to my transition from CS4 to CS5, but this is my second (documented) attempt at action script (the first being a card game unavailable here) so cut me some sort of slack? I'm not an artist or a good composer at all, I'm just a programmer/"scripter".
Yes- I WILL work harder on my following submissions, at least now I've got my technique down, I now have a really good artist/composer to work with and we will be doing a lot of cool things from now on.

Pros: Nice music, groovy sound effects, decent fighting system.
Cons: Level is simple and boring, short game, gets repetetive.
Overall: Really fun to play for a little while, I enjoyed the special attack and shield block mechanic. Can't figure out why there is no white male character to play.

There were meant to be, I just hadn't added them before the dreaded pc format. On that note, I don't know now if I should fix all that you and BrokenHeart said in this or move on to better things.
Not so bad
I took time to read what you writed in the description and based on that, i'd say that it's not so bad. Fine it's not like the game that great composer would do, but the difference is that they have sponsor like mochimedia or armorgames and have a lot of experience. I could not even do what you did myself. I play the games and that's all about that. So the point i'm getting to is that it's not bad, everything works as it should and all you need is to get better.
One point thought: When you win or lose, it says ''OU WIN'' ''OU LOSE''.
