Sloppy programming. The FATAL flaw is that the game actually crashed when I got blackjack. I bet 1 and it said:
Dealer: Bust
Bet: 1
Won: 0
Player: Blackjack
The buttons on the bottom just all disappeared and all that was left was the submit score button. There was no "repeat" or "deal" button on the bottom for playing another hand and it did nothing when I clicked on the chips. I speculate it is because I bet an odd amount (1) and it pays 3 to 2 and so it crashed when the payout was supposed to be a half-integer. I don't know if the program even pays 3 to 2 for blackjack, I never got it betting an even amount to see if it paid off the right amount, I didn't get it except the one time that ended the game, and then I refreshed and played again betting 1 until I got blackjack and again it crashed in the same way. For all I know it crashes just the same if you're betting an even amount.
You also are not clear on the rules of blackjack. It shouldn't ask me if I want to hit or stand after I hit the double button. You don't get to double down and NOT take another card. Not that you'd want to not take another card since it doesn't let you double on anything but 9 10 or 11. It would be sweet if I could double on 20 or blackjack and not take another card. It sucks to have been disallowed from doubling on a soft 15 against a 6 though.
I guess this is European blackjack since it didn't check for dealer blackjack before having the player do his thing and it only lets me double if the first 2 cards are 9 10 or 11. But I guess that's a variant that exists.
I'm surprised you handled splitting as reasonably as you did. Though you might not want to have them right on top of each other, that's confusing. I split a pair of 8s - they're supposed to be spaced reasonably far apart, side by side, not for both hands to be right on top of each other in a jumble.
HORRIBLE music. Thanks for the mute button at least. I'd just as much like to be repeatedly tapped by a ball peen hammer as listen to that.
You've placed so much effort for the appearance with the clay crud chips and drink and the fabric table but I'd take a working game over that.
