My description sums up nicely. I wanted to post this on Deviantart, but the website cannot handle my video even with a preloader so I thought I'd try out this website and see how it works. This was my first assignment for flash class and I had a lot of fun. Tell me what you all think.
Special thanks to ZUN for creating Touhou, the fans who made the Bad Apple remix, and the fans who made the Bad Apple dance.
By the way, I'm not looking to make any funding off this video if I can turn that off. I'm a developing artist and am more interested in learning animation right now. I don't own the music or the characters and I'm just not interested in being funded for fan made videos. To me, at least, its disrespecting the original authors when I'm trying to complement them.
The lag is also still bad. Is there any suggestions for correcting it? The video plays fine on my computer. The audio is supposed to drop when the mike is broken, but due to the lag in animation the timing is thrown completely off.

Could have been better.
All things considered, you did pretty well. For a first assignment in the dealings of flash, I'd say you did great, and most importantly, you had fun while making it.

Its fun; its OK.
My sympathies for the lag. I usually find the same problem. Every time I ask someone about it, they tell me different answers- some, sometimes work, but the truth is that Flash is not well designed to avoid that, in my oppinion.
Sometimes changing from Event to Stream helps; sometimes inserting blank sound files into key places helps. Search the forums and tuts to find the answers; it is critical to music videos like this and would improve this SO much. Sadly, the lag does rather spoil it :(
Regarding the funding, you won't get any money if you don't set up a means to recieve it, but really, provided you credit everybody, it is reasonable for you to accept the tiny ammount you might get for it- you can always give it to charity.
The next step up in improving this video would be full lip sync, which is hard work.

Thankyou very much. I was disappointed with the drop in quality, I'll see if I can get it fixed and repost it later. With such a gaff, I'd probably score myself a 3 because timing is beyond critical.
On a different note, if I can get rid of the lag, it'll be pretty good. I could not lip sync the video since I put the audio on event (doing this was the only way I could get the audio and footage to sync at all for my class project). I just estimated and it plays very nicely on my compy. So, for now I'll toy with it and repost it in better quality. Thank you for your time.
