The concept isn't new, the controls are as easy as they can get, the story is pretty obvious, but it's a fun game. It's just one long phase of mayhem in flight. Great graphics, sounds and everything, as always. Fun to play!

That was an awesome game! I am surprised that it is not more popular. I guess its biggest downsides are that it's mostly just the same enemies over and over. That still doesn't stop it from being tons of fun as you get to ravage your way through an army of colorful enemies! The blue bombs being dropped were kind of cool, I liked how you didn't have to worry about attacking the people on the ground as much. The music is also great.

I've actually somewhat followed the Apache series throughout the years. It truly is underrated. I really like how you just keep your finger on the button to keep it going, because you're going to need it. In fact, all games like this should have that feature. The sounds are quite authentic, especially with the helicopter blades.

Not bad...could use work

Overall has a lot of polish. But it was hard to tell enemy shots from my shots (especially since missles all looked alike and were flying so fast). Bombs were pretty worthless, since they weren't powerful enough to destroy much on the ground. Upgrades would normally show up right next to the ground if you strafed low, and by the time you get up to pick it up at the right side of the screen you had either take damage from plowing through things or the upgrade had fallen too far to the ground to pick up and it blowed up. It's a nice game, and interesting, but got boring fast. Just wished the upgrades weren't frustrating to get, and that the bombs did a better job of clearing the ground. Either you're stuck in the air and the ground units get by, or you're stuck on the ground and getting hammered from the sky.

Very good game that has it's flaws.

The music, while fitting and rather good, is very repetitive and tedious for a game of this length. A bigger number of musics (as long as they are of good quality) would fix this. There isn't that much variety on enemies, either. And some of them are kind of useless, as they provide no real addition to the gameplay.

Also, the game is quite challenging. Power-ups are pretty much a necessity here, as your default gun is very weak against the hordes of enemies. I feel this is one element borrowed from the Gradius series.
