This is my first portal submission, and my first complete sprite movie. (I normally only use Flash for presentations and school projects.) I spent about 15 hours on this, staying up until 5:30AM, and most of my time was spent ripping sprites and graphics from Final Fantasy 1 Wonderswan Color. Yes, this is made up of only Final Fantasy 1 Sprites - And all of them are from the WSC version (except the "The End" graphic.) I ripped all the sprites myself from WSCamp, a great WSC emulator. This movie has pretty much no meaning, but what on Newgrounds does? Enjoy.

UPDATE: Thanks for your comments. You're very generous, and the reason I posted this was to see peoples' reactions, and I'm pleased, because the only flaws you point out are the tiny length, the pointlessness, and the graphics. (I love pixelation! ...and FF1!) I thought I'd try out the shiny new remake graphics for FF1 after beating the game. Anyway, thanks for your feedback. My next proj will prolly be something else FF-related, but with vast improvements, of course :P

I personally loved it

You see, being a huge fan of the Final Fantasy series (the new crap, too, but starting on the old, thank you very much) and being one who just can't stand listening to the Fanfare without singing along to it and just maybe dancing, I loved this flash. Sure, it was short, and the graphics weren't the best they can be (but the best regardless), it was to the point, and fans of the series can enjoy it.

Looked like a practice flash. The music was annoying, but quite authentic to that style. Otherwise... youve done a lot better.

not very good..

it kinda sucked and btw twisted crow...this isnt 8-bit theatre...8 bit theatre uses nes sprites....not the new version of ff...and it was totally unrelated to 8-bit he needs no permission...
