P.S. I mention this in the credits, but the background music is Drum N Blues by Space Whale Audio, from the album Cube. You can download the album here http://www.jamendo.com/en /album/79998 for FREE! Although if you really like, I suggest donating a few bucks.

this game is horrible
Gosh! I been playing the new submissions tonight on the home page of newgrounds and most just suck.
Ok here it goes the graphics are awful and makes the game feel like it idea waiting to finished. Second the music is painful to listen to so I had to turn down the audio. Also the game play is blah and I know what you where shooting for a fun game that you reap doing the same thing over and over while you get money for power ups. But things come at you too fast and your dead before you get started. Also it took me awhile to figure out what I suppose to be doing. Not your fault maybe you included instructions I always try to play the game first and then if I cannot figure it out I read the instructions later. The whole thing just felt like someone trying to sing a certain song but doing a horrible job of it.
whew!
after what seems like forever, I finaly got the last max out. that's right, I beat the game all the way through :) and I have to say it was pretty addictive. the one big flaw I noticed was that you should've been able to upgrade maneuverability. and you should've had multiple songs. cuz the one just got boring after a while.
good game.
Simple
Creatively so.
The fact that your own bullets hurt you was, at first, something I didn't like.
Then I played more, and decided it added a level of difficulty that makes the game far more enjoyable. Needs something more though.
Hrmmm
It would be a pretty decent game if it werent for some pretty big flaws, firstly: Whenever you start the game again you have to click the screen for it to work, second: your "ship" can be hurt and affected by its own shots which makes it near impossible to move without getting hurt, and third: the power-ups dont stay on the screen long enough. Just fix these and that game would be pretty great, but for now I would blam it.
Yeah, the first flaw was bad, i'm not sure why the focus isn't on the game right away. I'll have to ask around and see if anyone else has come across this problem.
However the whole "innovative" part of the game was to try to avoid your own bullets. So i can't exactly get rid of that. Someone had suggested making the shots controllable with your mouse. Maybe that would of been a more enjoyable game mechanic.
I'm blabbering on. So in conclusion, Thanks for playing my game. And thanks to everyone could wrote a review. They were some great ideas in there.
