The hammer pulling the "you know what" was just plain rude. When you make this type of game you should follow normal protocol. You know that when your mouse pointer is on something it must do something, right?
Pretty good game.
Took me a few minutes to figure out which clues were for what, but once I did, things fell into place pretty smoothly for me.
No Wikipedia needed, and no knowledge of Chilean authors either.
My only suggestion would be maybe to clean up the tool interface a little - I found it a bit temperamental as to where I had to click on individual tools to get them to work, but that's pretty minor.
The walkthrough wouldn't load
and a text walkthrough would suffice as opposed to a video one anyhow. I came to a point where there were 3 puzzles, no hints except for some roberto bolano book thing that i really didn't understand at all. I used every item I had on the toolbox and the reach for the stars hoop but couldn't come up with a single thing, and i'm no push over, i have a relatively high problem solving ability (although at times i am absent minded). There wasn't enough information available to solve the puzzles. and the music loop made me feel like i was in some potpourri store. I didn't understand what i was supposed to write seeing as there wasn't a B on the list of selectable letters (roberto bolano, and you have to assume that some folks don't know about Chilean authors who write poetry and books about serial murders. Shouldn't have to use Wikipedia to play a flash game IMO). I had no clue what i was supposed to do with the puzzle of lines, i made several different shapes but nothing I made did the trick. I could just be some ignorant ill informed hick, but if the information needed to solve the puzzles is in this game, i couldn't find it.
