Where is the Duck?

Author Comments

A small sound localisation game best played in headphones.
There are three modes:
*In IID mode the duck is moved by changing the level in each ear.
*In ITD mode one ear is delayed behind the other
*HRTF mode the sounds are filtered with head related transfer functions to move them left and right and even behind you.
Going to listen mode allows you to listen to the duck from different locations in the three different modes.
Enjoy this epic adventure in auditory greatness.

HURRAY!!

I rule at this, I win every time! I like it it's good, i like how it had a duck in it and also that it made quack sounds (possibly the highlight). Really cool and awesome in one. I think it should get 10 stars for innovation and sodomy.

I Think It's Great

This really shows how high tech sound reproduction can be made, even with small-scale stuff like this. Just needs a little more fleshing out, like more sounds happening at once. Maybe like an audio version of "Duck Hunt" where left-right is left-right on the screen and front-back is up-down on the screen, more points for clicking closer to the actual sound. I don't know just seems really cool.

Ummm...

Lmao, I think it's sort of neat, but... it's not much of anything at all now is it? XD
Not sure if it'd be possible to make a full game out of this, and it became pretty easy after the first few tries.

also lololol duck
