Perhaps instead of having the same item several times, just in a different colors, have a color editor thing.

Thor the god of thunder and lightning is one of the main gods of Norse mythology. He's often described as a strong man with red beard and fire in his eyes but now you can decide what he looks like.

It is not a bad game, but it isn't amazing beyond all belief. Just your typical dress up game.
