The inspiration for this came from listening to Switch vs. Evil-Dog -> Round 3 for the first time. Made me think of flying, and then someone building a machine and flying around in it, and eventually became this. I began this submission at the same as Jonas Brothers Immolation, but I finished this one 7 months before, but I wouldn't post it until the other was done, and here they both are.
Having Swift 3D would have saved a bit of time to be sure, but I did not have that program unfortunately, so I had to manually draw everything.
This is my first FBF submission, and I think that I did a decent job.
As for who won the race, that's for you to decide.

I loved it, not only but the flow of the movie was awesome, only problem is the soundless intro but then it gets pretty awesome, great animation and movement, especially for a first FBF. I thought it was super well done and put a smile on my face.

Against The Wind
Well, that was a wild ride you took me on good sir. The artwork is superb, mainly within the backgrounds and complimented the great animation. I especially loved flying through the storm and the sun atop the clouds at the end. The story here is simplistic and wonderful, the journey of flight and the wonders that the sky has to offer. The music choice was perfect, kudos to Evil-Dog and to you for choosing it. However some sound effects or music would've been nice at the beginning before the building of the flying machine. Overall though this is a wonderful flash movie and it is one that I have decided to add to my favorites.
