Hey Newgrounds. For my first submission for 2011. An experimental short I made for my favorite season. WINTER!

This is a silent movie project I started in mid October of 2010, but couldn't finish it because of distractions. It wasn't made purposely for any holiday collection. Only "Seasonal". Why I started this project? Because in the beginning of the season, I heard the west coast is gonna see a small chance of snow. And, I live in the Pacific Northwest. So I started with a few story idea and in such little time, this story idea was always stuck in my head. So I went along with it and got it over with. But along the way I started getting distracted, placing production to a halt. I could've gotten it done but, meh... my mind wonders.

This year next winter, I'll probably come up with something more lengthy. Enjoy and happy Winter Days.

P.S. I am jealous at East Coast for having over 5 feet of snow.

funny

great my friend..

Snowballers :D

I really enjoyed the animation although having some background music and more sound effects would have drastically improved the mood of the animation. Also I feel you're pain, living in California, I need to be up in the mountains to get any kind of snow.

shrizumalonito responds:

I agree with everything you just said. I mean Everything.

Pretty good

I enjoyed the flash, it was quite good.
Add a few voices and it'll be great!

I find Ocarina of Time's kid Link's voice strangely fitting to the boy's voice. Maybe you could try that out?

shrizumalonito responds:

My goal was to animate without voice. I only wanted to show facial expressions, hand gestures, arm movement, and body posture. It's like what you sometimes see in silent films. Voices were planned in later projects.

Plus, i'm trying to avoid voices from well known stuff because of copyright.

I liked it!

Very clean cut animation, their were a few minor bum-ups, but it's very good nonetheless. The sound was great and effects were pretty spot on. Great job! Keep up the good work! : )

shrizumalonito responds:

Thank you. I appreciate your good eyes.

No audio

I know it's silent, but it doesn't have the feel or look as something should be silent. Well done for making such a good Flash for something that is experimental.

shrizumalonito responds:

What it needs... is a song.
