This game must have taken a long time to make and polish because it's almost flawless. At first, i was thinking: "Wow, only three guns?" and "This is a total ripoff of Raze," but then i found the unlockables and saw you gave credit to the games this was inspired from. So,
Originality: 9/10 & 5/5, since there are A LOT of games that are like this out there, but yours was the best.
Gameplay: 10/10 & 5/5, it was very easy to pick up, not to complicated, and easy to use.
Graphics: 10/10 & 5/5, for this type of game, you can't get any better than this.
Story: 9/10 & 5/5, it started off well in the beginning, but then kind of died out after explanation stopped, however, stories are not too typical in this type of game.
Final verdict: 10/10 & 5/5. This game was great and very enjoyable, and along with the use of the medal system, was hands down the best game of its type i have ever played.
Thanks for the review and recognizing the fact I credited Raze. So many people are flaming Armor Mayhem because of the similarities, but there were some many games like this before Raze.
The variety of weapons alone is plain sick. The AI is unreal. The levels are beautiful. The music is fucking epic. The whole piece is a smooth well-oiled machine of pure mayhem.
There's seriously so much replay value to this work of art.
So what if the story has a hole... i can't think of a game-plot I couldn't poke a hole in. It's not an adventure game ... it's a fast paced action shooter. And in that domain, this game is easily at the top.
Haha, MAGICAL! Thanks for your voice man. I hope we can work together again soon. Actually, I might have an other job for you.
Your team's AI is much dumber than the enemy AI, while the enemy is going around hunting you down and capturing all the points, your team just randomly wanders around the map casually shooting the enemy if one happens to be around them. The mission called Zonage is a good example, the blue team spreads around the map capturing all the points(which is the objective of the mission) while your team pretends to be busy by capturing a point sometimes when you are looking.
All computers have the same AI. However, it is random. You just got unlucky I guess.
This game is pretty fun.
2/3s of normal maps done with 4 basic guns and I thought "okay, 9/10 for lack of rocket launcher" then I found it :D
Okay... fun maps and quite a few of them. For this, I like this game alot.
Guns are always a plus.
Entertaining AI, seeing them shoot the wrong way here and there makes me chuckle, and thankfully they're not completely ass intellegent.
Oh yeah, it looks pretty damn nice.
Possible improvements have been stated: ability to choose colour and speed of zone capturing was a little fast.
All in all I really enjoyed playing.
