This is a very good (and importantly different) implementation of this genre of games. I enjoyed it very much.
Very good and fun game. To anyone who is curious about the name of the in-game song. It's called Soaring through the stars by David Orr.
Absolutely lovely piece of artwork. Triumphant. It really is fine art in motion (or flight if you will).
Keep it up! :D
um its fun but the medals are kinda hard
Pretty good game overall. This type of game has of course been done before, so it'd have to be the best I've played to get a 10. The weakest point is probably the little cut scenes, cute but not very well done compared to the rest of the game. For example they're very sketchy and not very fluid, but the backgrounds of the game were very smooth and looked nice.
Next is the music.. keep in mind this is completely my opinion, because I can see others like it, but I think it's very unfitting. It just reminds me of some action news network, I would've liked music more like the kind that plays during the upgrades screen. At first the music actually made me want to stop playing, but the addictiveness of these types of games kept me going. (I know there's mute, but games like this are much better with music)
I only have one complaint when it comes to the actual gameplay: there's no sign that you're traveling any distance. Besides the objects moving, the background stays completely the same. Some variation or objects in the background would've helped, but it' not as much of a big deal considering the levels change. But when you're in the sky it's hard to feel like you've gone any distance when it looks exactly the same as when you started.
Everything else is positive, but those are just things I feel could be improved.
