This film was started in March 2010, I worked on it for months, drawing each frame by hand with a non-photo blue pencil and an ink pen. I used Illustrator to vector the frames and then compiled them into Flash CS5, where I colored and shaded them. I have now come to my senior project during my last two quarters in college and can no longer give enough attention to this project. I am currently working on an animated teaser for my graphic novel series VERDACOMB, which is linked to the TOFU project in many deeper ways.

The music was produced by none other than Mr. Murph of Atlanta, GA. Thank you very much sir for letting me use your track.

I hope you all enjoy the short for what it is. My time and energy. Thank you.

Thanks TOM for the front page, I appreciate it.

looks a lot cooler with music, i like the choice too

Very nicely done. The music fits in well with the animation, and the animation itself is mysterious and fluent. I like the art style, as well. This was a good animation; keep up the good work, and enjoy your future animations and art as you create them!

animation was awesome...and drawing this frame by frame - you are badass....at the other hand , i really dunno what is the plot of this , but nevermind :D

Plot is revealed later. Plus, I have 3 TOFU cartoons from 2009 in my gallery that could clear some things up.

Great animation

First of all, I'd like to say this was a great piece of animation! It ran a bit sloppy on my computer though, you might want to add something to change the quality.

The only thing I didn't quite get was what went wrong, causing her to shoot the machine after she switched it on. Or was it already her intention to do so before she even went to the machine?

Anyhow, I love the animation, and how much detail you added to the environment!

She herself is sort of lost in time right now, and the machine is in terrible shape. She obviously knows how to use it, so she isn't quite accustomed to seeing it malfunction, yet she designed it and knows how to tame it.

I can wait

But I am anxious to see the final project. This reminds style reminds me of Akira, including some of the happenings in the animation that involved the big device. I want a gun like what she is carrying. I wonder if those actually exist somewhere in real life; if they are hidden from the worlds common population? I guess we just might find out one day...
Oh, right. You did a wonderful job. I am sure your family is proud of your talent, as well as the world may be one day. Pursue your dreams and never give up. Never give up. Never give up. Never give up.
