This film was started in March 2010, I worked on it for months, drawing each frame by hand with a non-photo blue pencil and an ink pen. I used Illustrator to vector the frames and then compiled them into Flash CS5, where I colored and shaded them. I have now come to my senior project during my last two quarters in college and can no longer give enough attention to this project. I am currently working on an animated teaser for my graphic novel series VERDACOMB, which is linked to the TOFU project in many deeper ways.

The music was produced by none other than Mr. Murph of Atlanta, GA. Thank you very much sir for letting me use your track.

I hope you all enjoy the short for what it is. My time and energy. Thank you.

Thanks TOM for the front page, I appreciate it.

Are you going to finish the series?

danomano65 responds:

UPDATE: www.TOFUZILLA.com is LIVE! I will begin uploading pages for the new graphic novel in November. Later on the novel will be animated as short films with more advanced animation! Also read Ch. 1-4 of my other graphic novel at www.VERDACOMB.com!

THe moral of this story, children....

Don't play with dark-matter.

danomano65 responds:

Haha! love it.

Dont get me wrong, I really like this. the different use of perspective, or only the way she shoots with her gun... anyway there is still one thing that bothers me. its the detail on the background. Its amazing to see all the detail you put into it. But in that way you will focus more on the background then on the character. Give it a light glow effect or something. Its not that hard to fix it.
And hey, you still got my 5/5 9/10 right? Keep up the good work. :)

danomano65 responds:

haha i appreciate honesty

very very smooth

Hey there,
i really like your animation style. the kinda comicy thing remids me of old DC/marvel comics. the music is great, although iam missing at least some sound effects. And at the start its kinda hard to pick up and follow the story.
amazing animation effects whatsoever. looking forward to see the finished masterpiece (maybe? =) )
till then,
keep up the good work

danomano65 responds:

yeah I am going to have a sound designer put together some sound effects for me. that'll be for the final product.

Unholy Urine!

The animation was incredible, your use of perspective and lighting and your different camera angles came out brilliantly, loved it.

danomano65 responds:

Thanks I really took advantage of the project as an opportunity to experiment with lighting and shadows and stuff. I hadn't gone into that much detail before. I'll only get better from here!
