Look on youtube pauseunpause no time to explain when i saw it it was amazing i wanted to play so bad and this is just as great as the real game.
Just curious, how long did it take you to make the paid version of this? It's a lot longer and has a lot of new mechanics that clearly took a lot of work, but you also how a pretty unpolished UI and use images for some of the hats.
Just seems kind of weird how you put a lot more work into some parts than others...
About 9 months. It's just me doing design, art, code and animation so no single part of it is especially perfect.
Also I fuckin hated working on the game after a while. I didn't expect it to ever get as big as it did, so I didn't plan for it to be anything impressive from the start. That's why some of the high-priority art, like the first 5 level backgrounds, are spiced up for Steam while a lot of other stuff that doesn't get as much attention is left behind.
I love this demo! I might play the steam version soon! :D
Great intro! Great writing! Great voice acting and sound quality! Great music! I'm not even 2 minutes in and I can't help but wanna buy this! I like how the grass gets burnt. When the hand comes in holding you if you jump at it and go outside is possible to see two crab hands holding you and then you shooting the laser. Glitch much? It's so god damn hard on the first level! The mouse will lag and then you're basically shit out of luck. I respawned and kept falling to my death due to the spawn point. I was falling so I moved towards a platform and the platform pushed me off. It pushed me off it. What the fuck? I just hope the steam version is better.
Yeah I made this in a weekend. It was about a year before we even thought about making a Steam version.
Fucking love the Music, Great Game by the way
