Not bad

I just started to use game factory 2 myself and I can say that this game is actually pretty cool. However I found several bugs:
-I can't find the back button when I read the instruction, I have to reload the page.
-I can't see all of the health bar in the flying level, half of it is outside the screen.
-In the flying level, the background doesn't take up the whole space.
-In the platforming level, I can't see my health at all times, i can only see it in full when I jump. If you kept it static in a corner it might help.
-If you fall halfway through the platforming level, the game doesn't end.

As a side note, I do agree that the space level drags on for too long, add a boss fight or more variety in enemies. If that takes up too much space increase the difficulty by making the asteroids fly faster and reduce the length of the level.

This isn't a bda game, with a bit more work it can turn out pretty good. Don't give up!

Nice idea but...

The ready at the beginning of flight scenes is far to long, your Backgrounds are really cheap and you can win by holding in one place and fire all you have.

The ground szene aren't better. Holding fire is enough to win.

But at least i had some fun. It's a little short.

Decent effort

I think that you're getting the hang of Games Factory workings nicely here, though the game could still use some work, to make it pan out properly.

The stages seem a little long and having to spam press S to fire is a bit of a problem. Consider having some sort of programming that allows it to "auto fire", just by holding the button down. How exactly are you supposed to shoot laser fire out of the sky? I don't know the physics of it myself, but I was doing it with pretty good accuracy.

Some of the powerups, while useful seemed pointless, when there was just the one type. There is no score, so there feels to be no end goal and motivation to progress with the game, so adding a score tracker would encourage people to continue and maybe even to take more risks within the game, so they can get greater score? Higher points for the grey asteroids, as opposed to the brown ones, perhaps?

Keep working at it, you've got a decent concept, so just developing it a bit will be very rewarding for this game.

but wen you win it just seas fin,there should at least be a animation of the boss exploding or something.
also there is a glitch in the boss,you can just fly thro the middle of the 2 other ships and i didn't get hit?!?!?! great boss music tho! :D
