The objective of this Tetris variant game is to form basic Tetris shapes (tetrominoes) using falling blocks. If the shape and the colour is the same as the top item in the queue, it will be romoved. Remove all shapes from the queue to finish the level. Use LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys to move the falling blocks. Press UP key to rotate and down to speed up.

A nice element of tetris

Monotris something different but still kinda tetris, The elements of a tetris game are always special and you created it to have some entertaining fun and elements, You have a nice element of tetris here some fun visuals and gameplay is a classic enjoyment so really nice job, seems like theres even a small twist on this one too you have some nice skills and it shows off very well, anyways great classic game here and hope you make even more of these tetris types.

*exasperated sigh*

I was never really a fan of the old tetris. I felt like it was one of the most monotonous things ever aside from fetch-quests and RPG-Grinding. But you've clearly found a way to show up the original game by being even more boring than the predecessor, and I never thought that was possible for anything other than a Civilization game.

It can take a long time for the colors you need to arrive. It was bad enough waiting for shapes, but now we have to wait for the right colors too. Then there is that bullshit about having to do certain shapes within the cue. I suppose there has to be some way to "progress" (if that is even the appropriate word for this game) but surely there was a better way than this. I'm at least grateful that the extra shapes you do get counted into your score (not that it really does anything anyway).

In short, disliked the original Tetris and this didn't really sell itself to me either. Nice try. Better luck next time either.

Even I'm not fast enough for level 15.... or am I?

Congratulations - you managed to make something even more monotonous than the original tetris. The big, huge flaw in this game is that there is absolutely no advantage whatsoever to advancing to the next level. You don't get any extra points out of the deal, you don't rack up points faster at the higher levels, and there's no opportunity to WIN the game, it just increases the speed and adds new colors. If you want to get the highest score possible, you should deliberately NOT match the form of the next figure in the queue so that you stay on level 1. I simply advanced through the levels because I figured "what the hell, it's not like I'm going to play this thing a second time". And they were all pretty indistinguishable after a while, until number 15, when the speed suddenly became, with nothing in between, the full downward speed you get when you hold the down button (holding the down button made no difference), and I could probably have won it and gone to 16, but I said "screw it" and ended that sucker where it was. Of course, for all I know, you win level 15 and you win the game, but I doubt it. Oh well. I'm certainly not going to go through all that again to test it.
