Update 4/13/2013 : Flash Retooled with more Newgrounds music and less original content. same flash, different music.
I shold have done this sooner...
Also, Ryu's Scene near the end was altered. Originally, the joke was about having him sing "Pop Star" by Ken Hirai, but due to copyright issues I had to replace it with Guile's theme. Thankfully it goes with everything! :D

I'm back and with a treat for you all. SFII The Satire Edition. This was something that i've been wanting to do ever since the SF collab was announced.

It all started earlier this year when I decided to play through various ports and upgrades of the game and I slowly developed several ideas in the process. I even decided to read up on each character's bio just to understand their backstories a bit better. I started writing the script, got several VAs and got some additional help from other authors. overall it was a 4 month process.I even decided to add a few cameos from SF4 in it because in a parody, anything can happen.

The character based humor was somewhat inspired by Brawl Taunts. The humor ranges from childish to campy to crude to somewhat offensive, depending on your sense of humor. Even though I made 4 MK Mishaps flashes in the past, I'll admit that this project was challenging for me since this SF lacks the "Gory comedy" that Mortal Kombat was known for

Thanks to everyone who helped out. I can't add the whole cast to the author Credits section, but you guys have all been credited for your work in the flash anyway.

Enjoy and Happy New Year!

Always fun to be had with joking about the lip-syncing of old translated movies. :D

yeah awesome

Really funny, but I dont understand the "Ryu wins the tournament" scene. Just plain strange. Everything else is funny though.

That final sketch was originally about Ryu singing a J-pop song called "Pop Star" by Ken Hirai, but due to copyright claims in Youtube I had to remove it and replace it whith Guile's theme since it goes with everything.

So blame Sony Music for ruining the joke. :/

lol great ryu end

Also weed is actually illegal in Jamaica, as well as Amsterdam, and every other country in the world HOWEVER some countries (such as the one's listed) have large leniences on the growth and use of cannabis or who's law enforcement will often look the other way and focus on larger crimes like smuggling, murder, or... anything. Seriously though its a really pathetic thing to arrest someone for, and in fact if not for america, most other countries would already have legalized it. And yes I'm sure it is not 100% legal in any country in the world, but Antarctica... which has no laws. Also international waters but those aren't countries. Also people don't hate on this just because I'm stating facts, I really think weed should be legalized, or at least regulated, however there are many problems that many people don't consider such as how the black market and underground drug trade will react to such things because they are not going to suddenly give up on a multi-million trade operation without major retaliation. So now you know, and knowledge is power! lol pls don't flame.

dude, chill. It was just a joke.

I'm fully aware that weed is illegal in Jamaica.

It's just one of the 2 things that come to mind when you think of Jamaica, that and Reggae of course.

The Cat fight scene is so true. I freaking love Chun Li :3

The Guile scene of "Your are man enough..." remenbers me too the mistake of SFIV, El Fuerte calls "Amigo" to the female characters

Great that all the 12 characters appeared in the animation. Now make a new spoof but only changing the characters colors, increase the FPS to 60 and call it SF II: The Satire Edition TURBO
