YFYIAR is the drunken uncle of text-based adventures: Abusive, abrasive, and maybe a little funny.

I thought this was a wonderful game, playing it made me feel like the Doctor arguing with Cybermen. The puzzles were really clever. Simplicity is good for a text-based game.

The Master Rater

This is a game that definitely brings us back to the time of when this is what video games where considered. Ironically my best friend told me about a game like this being put in a new game that came out recently (not spoiling it for you), and I thought wow, imagine how frustrating this can be. But when I played I just thought simply and the answers just came to me. That's all it takes. And the game, and how it insulted me. It was frustrating. But you should never let frustration keep you down. Humanity was born with all of our flaws, and we don't let any of them hold us back. That's exactly what this game tells you. And I"m glad I could play it. The personality of this game reminds me almost of Glados from Portal. It starts off doing nothing then it gets a little funny and then it just turns into something that needs to insult you before its defeat. I found it astounding. And the music was great as well. And I loved the subtle elements of how depending on different situations, the text would change size and font. It was great. You must have spent a lot of time on this and I thank you for it. You have done something that was quite astounding then and quite fun now.

I actually really loved this. I am a massive fan of text-based games, and this is one the of the most entertaining games I've played. It had a resonance of the Portal games - very simple but great impact. Brilliant! :)

i thought i learned the meaning of the word today. now i TRULY know now.
this game has changed my perception on many words such as: hate, love, death, life, and most changed of all, perception.
this is a masterpiece all its own.
in its own world.
in its own room.
