The point and click adventure was simple but I was definitely impressed by the readings weaved into the game. It tackles many issues on science, spirituality, being, life, death, etc. without seeming to be trying too hard. The 1st-person character view can be interpreted in many ways. The game is deep and complex, really makes you think.
Intellectually, aesthetically, and creatively ...
The deeper I got into playing this game, the more I loved it. When I finished it, the joy continued as I thought about it more, put together pieces of the puzzle that I'd missed during the actual play, and discovered something incredible.
I found you through "The Book of Living Magic" (which I also heartily recommend), and from here I'll be keeping an eye out for more of your creations. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Im impressed by the amount of readable content that pleased my thirst for what I was missing... I was beginning to wonder whom I was playing as, but it started to make sense slowly, and more so at the end, escaping the world of confinement... Or, programming, and becoming real. No force can contain a true imagination.
Full of secrets and a sense of disaster
The entire thing is a very emotionally wearing experience, like walking through a past warzone or examining the remains of your bombed home. It's almost crammed full of details that all fit together to make an atmosphere of desperation. Even small things such as the string of binary in the SGDS control computer are intricate - it yields the message "this is a dream" when decoded.
While I couldn't get that far, this is a very cool-looking game. Besides the fantastic graphics, the best part about it is probably the haunting music. It truly gives you the impression that you are off in some strange room and/or dimension with no way out. Everything is done so well with its color. The vastness of this room itself gives off the idea of infinity. There are so many things to look at and yet so few ways to truly help yourself.
The way the shadows are done gives it a real three-dimensional feel. You have no idea what is going on because everything is enclosed so well. I wish I could use some of the computer chips that are in those boxes. I'm sure everything will be more clear when you advance in the game. Thank you for making a really artsy submission.
