Endeavor is a game about a dwarf trying to uncover an ancient secret. Or maybe it's about exploring, climbing, and swimming. Or perhaps it's about collecting powerups and treasure. Or possibly it's just about killing things.

With multiple endings, quests, interactive npcs and ambient critters, it's my most involving game yet! It features many original musical tracks, several upgrades, and an engaging climbing and endurance scheme.

You can find a full map of the game at
(Remove the two spaces in the link to get it to work... I'm not sure why it's doing that!)

Note: Once you've reached an ending, you won't be able to get a different ending without restarting the game. Don't worry, getting the other endings is much faster when you know where everything is!

Update: Some people are getting lag whenever they touch a flower- this is due to an auto-save feature that I've decided to remove (note that the game still autosaves whenever you collect a powerup or switch screens, just not on touching flowers anymore). I've submitted the latest version which should get approved soon, so bear with me! Thanks for playing!

Update 12/2: There seems to be a bug with running out of endurance underwater and getting trapped in air bubbles. I'm working on fixing it! If this happens, press Q to return to the main menu, and then reload your save file.

Update 12/3: Patched to fix the underwater bug, pressing escape now pauses AND unpauses. Added tip menu screen to press p to see collections. Also added an additional creature on the island above the light beam. Hopefully the update goes live soon!

Update 12/11: Added a link to a full map of the game, see above!

Loved it.

I'm a sucker for pixelated games and I really enjoyed this one. I wasn't too sure how to feel about the size of the characters in the game, especially the protagonist, but your size compaired to everything around makes you realize how big this world is. There isn't too much challenge in the platforming and there is nothing to fight, but the adventure aspect makes up for that fact. The music was probably my favorite thing about this game. Each piece fits so well with the environment it's in and can really set the mood and emotion of what it is like to be in that place. For example, I swear I was gonna have to fight something in the Volcano area with that war drum music and the fast horns playing, not to mention the "roar" sound. The multiple endings really add to this game as well, I loved how the most obvious cousre to go in the game leads to the worst ending.

There is one thing about this game that I found weird, it seems rather depressing at times. The fact that every flower you touch, getting endurance from the souls of creatures you killed, and with sad music in the background can really bring you down, and I find it amazing that it can do that to me. I have one question though, it's something me and my friends would like to know. Is there a purpose for that cat in the snow area or is it there just for looks? Seriuosly, there is no damn way to get to it and it's just sitting there.

Good God! OoO

Marvelous! :D I love the good old fashion pixelstyle and the music is both great and fitting. Our "dwarf"maincharacter thou seems an awful lot like Falco, in pixel style, from any of the Fox nintendogames :o

I too am learning to be a programmer and this must be a VERY good example of the awesomeness it can do, in the right hands it can be a glorious piece of imagination like this..... (I wonder what the defenition of the "WRONG hands" would be..... (O.O MAYBE EV√úL D8 D8 (or maybe just CRAP!)))

I sensed that I shouldnt help the voice but I couldnt resist to what would happen ^^ I got pleasently surprised to actually loose. :D Will now try to WIN this...
Great job!
