wonderful game! I play it whenever I feel upset. i can just zone out to the strangely soothing yet sometimes abrupt music (I was startled when I first entered the volcano area). once you get a hang of the controls you feel so quick and spry! my first ending, I defeated the diety but had also killed a few of the non-speaking creatures, so I got the neutral ending. From there I found myself replaying it over and over again to try and get all the different endings. I also like how the dialogue of the other dwarves above changes per ending you end up completing.
[SPOILERS for MYSTERY ENDINGS if you'd rather figure them out on your own! do go try that first. once you get a sense of where everything is and a better handle on the controls, you can finish the game in no time.] defeat the diety without killing any creatures to get the first ending. for the next ending, collect all the gems and restore power to the deity. finally, you get the last ending if you kill 20 creatures then defeat the deity. you receive the final achievement once you've completed all the endings, and it doesn't matter in which order you complete the endings.
i don't know if its absurd to wish there were achievements and/or endings for, let's say, killing every single creature above and below... or defeating the diety without collecting a single gem... just hypothetically though! it's not like I tried them both while trying to get all the mystery endings or anything.
anyway, thank you, author, for creating such a short and lovely game! keep up the good work and stay safe:)
