This is the first Flash game I've ever completed by myself, as well as my first submission on Newgrounds. Please express any and all constructive comments below or through e-mail, and try not to be too hard on me! :) I hope you like it.

CONTROLS:
Left/Right Arrow Keys: Move left/right
Spacebar: Jump
Shift: Glide (certain umbrellas only)

DESCRIPTION:
As one of the last remaining robotic AIs, it is your mission to find safety in a nearby bunker in order to avoid the falling debris from a recent nuclear war. With the help of umbrellas you will traverse the desolate city and desert in search of your safe haven.
UPDATES:
11/25/2010: Objects fall slightly slower now, reducing difficulty. Also, umbrellas no longer flash when taking damage, allowing them to absorb debris full-time.
not so difficult...
I realized that this game is not so hard at all, I passed it like 3 times in a row, you just need to fix your umbrella as much as you can. Also the controls we're perfect, it makes players careful about what they're doing.

Ok for your first...
For your first game, it wasn't too bad. Hit detection could use some work and jumping should be revised, including gliding. If you wanted to make different power-ups, (your umbrellas) make them different, but balanced. It is also sometimes hard to discern tangible objects from the background. The background should also be tweaked a little. I once saw a door covering the bottom portion of a window once, and another door right in front of a few boxes. In fact, I found that I could jump on doors, but not on the actual building. As for controls, make them smoother. I tried switching directions a few times, and the character completely stopped when I suddenly pressed the left button while running right. In another matter, I was not challenged at all. Maybe I got lucky?

This game kept me occupied for quite a while! It was well designed. i enjoyed how the game makes you avoid the falling objects, while trying to find umbrellas and make it to the next level! It made it quite challenging. The character, buildings, and backgrounds were made with good detail. You obviously put alot of time and effort into this game. a suggestion i can give you would be for you to make additional obsticals as the game progresses. Altogether i give it a 10 out of 10! i hope to see more good work from you
