'Ain't It Quaint' is a short puzzle/platform game in which the player's expectations and perceptions are challenged by the unusual behaviour's of the environment. You must learn what each of the obstacle's real purposes are and adapt to them.
This game was a final year project that I work on for about 2 months during my last year at university. This was the first time that I worked on a gaming project by myself and it was also my first real stint at AS3 coding.
I created all the designs in Flash/Photoshop, and created the music in Garageband. For the game itself I used Flash Builder and also used the Flixel engine. Thanks Adam for making an awesome game engine. I learned heaps during this project.

Though the graphics were very simple the game play was very fun and an instant hook.

Cheers dude. The designs are simple i admit. The graphics were meant to be simple from the start of the project to aid the idea behind the game, but there are definitely ways the concept could be improved graphically.

I have to admit that there really isn't much to the graphics, but the idea and concept is pretty good. I would like to see more from you. 9/10

Thanks for the comment. After getting better at coding during this project, I've considered making a sequel that is generally better all round, including better mechanics and more engaging visuals. I'm not too sure when I'll get onto making another game, but will see how things go.
