This is the final version of the 3 games i made. I added background music, i fixed the score bugs, and i fixed the glitch where you fly off screen.
i still need to work on the glitch where if you get hit by a commet it doesn't put you at the game over screen.
The game ain't bad, but there are alot of glitches!
Everytime something hits you the explosions leaves some graphics on the screen, eventually you can't see anything.
You also can't die, I took alot of hits and it never ends...

It's a pretty good game but needs some touch ups. The effects for the comet are the best in the game. The rest of the game should look similar to that. Also, the space ship never dies. xD It's kinda funny, but should be fixed. This games feels like it needs a few stages as well. I like the game, but feel there's a lot that can be added to it.
Thanks for the review! ill definetly work on some new stages when i get the chance. and ill see what i can do about the problem with dying.
Couple of suggestions
Controls work well, but most other aspects of the game could use one improvement or another. For instance the fact that there are two different fire options with essentially no difference... if you were to make one of them do more damage or have a larger hit range but with a slower fire rate it would make more sense. Also the main menu could use a clickable start button. Also after playing for a minute there were small bits of meteor and one white rectangle looking thing just floating a there. They looked as though they should be power-ups or something but flying over them or shooting them does nothing. Finally (purely an aesthetic note here) the meteors all look the same... just adding two or three random meteors images would make it look much better. Hope these suggestions help in making Meteorite smash 3
P.S. You might want to add some kind of vertical threat. I discovered that if you just stay in one place and fire constantly you will never get hit...
The white rectangle is shrapnel, the animation for it kind of gets hidden because of the explosion :p the difference between the fireing options is the plasma is some what bigger but you only get about half the score you would with a normal bullet. and i might just replace 1 of the meteors with a ship that shoots at you.
