UPDATE: Thanks Tom & company for the front page. My servers crashed twice as my host scrambled to meet the needs of this application. But, that is hopefully resolved.

UPDATE: WooOo Trophy! :D Thanks for the votes!

UPDATE: There are two music load bars near the bottom of the application. The one on the left is the current song, the one on the right is the next song up. This isn't indicated anywhere in the application, but now you know & knowing is half the battle.

First, thanks to Newgrounds & the audio portal composers for being such awesome guys. I like the cut of your jibs.

This is phase 2 of the Audio Bridge Project. Phase 1 was ugly and never saw the light of day. Phase 2 is minimalistic and mostly not ugly. But, the sound is the point.

This is a radio which updates its library to contain songs, currently, just from the Newgrounds audio portal. The database is not strictly up to date at every given moment, but it is updated regularly. So, if you vote on songs, those scores will eventually be stored in my database.

You can filter music by score, genre, & date submitted.

What you can't do, yet, is favorite music, go back and listen to a track you already listened to, or create playlists. I only mention that because plans for phase 3 include those mentioned features. Fret not, your ear drumbs shall be caressed by the most caring of musical fingers, in the future!

If you're into code and stuff like that, you'd be interested to know the entire project was created using FlashDevelop and the Flex SDK. Nothing here was actually made in Flash unless it was a Newgrounds resource.

Damn cool

My only suggestions would be more filtering capability!

Like filtering songs by length, especially. I HATE 30sec little clips!

I'd have to do tons of calculations that I don't have the processing power to do to make this work. Sorry.

There are tons of things I'd fine tune & implement if I had unlimited resources, but that's not the way the world works.

so since your computer sucks you give it a shitty review?

this is everything you need to enjoy music from the audio portal. the only thing im REALLY missing is a 1 track back button. simply let it save the last track played in your list and reload it when you press the back button. once would be enough.

It's great

I've been using this quite alot rather recently mainly because of the filter function.
It's wonderful.

Gotta take a couple of points off because you can't favourite songs, there's this big empty space in the ad-free version, and you cannot go back to a previous song. Now that one gets on my nerve, when I skip a nice song by accident or when an awesome song ends, I can't go back. Neither can I loop it.

And needless to say, you gotta work on the design a little.
I should probably be subtracting more points because of the lack of function, but I love your filter too much, so I'll leave it at 8.

Can't wait for a newer and improved version!

Fancy player!

What I like

The screen player! The ever changing and moving colors can be relaxing and hype depending on the song playing.
The rating filter! I don't listen to anything under 3.0 votes.
The progress slider.
High volume. I have low, cheap speaker. Thanks for making the nice and loud!

What i don't like

I prefer to have a clear list and check what i want, instead of a full list and check what I don't want.
It only goes one way. You can't go back to the perv song.
It stops when you click the music link.
No music player history.

Equalizer controls, if only bass and treble
Screen player options

Great job on this!

"I prefer to have a clear list and check what i want, instead of a full list and check what I don't want." - Click toggle. It will turn everything off or everything on so that you can do what you want. Feature already implemented.

"Can't go back" - I'm well aware. This will go away when I've implemented playlists entirely. The thing holding that back is the GUI currently as I want to have drag and drop functionality as well as a social sharing mechanism in place before releasing those features.

"stops when you click the music link" - This is intentional because music automatically plays on audio pages. I didn't want you to be hearing it twice. Maybe I'll implement an options panel to set things like that.

Equilizer - I'm not sure flash is sophisticated enough to allow that, but I'll look into it.

Screen player options - I'm not sure what you mean by this. Feel free to pm me if you want to elaborate.
