Pretty nice actualy

I like the story and you at lest had arms and other things in some limited animation. So it counts as one.
I like it, I never heard the story told in that way. Yes indeed the god was acting as a child wanting attention, as all gods in all stories act like. Very childish indeed. The compassion for the child in spite of the god/child attempting to break them apart is very deep and meaningful.

Remember: An animation is only as good as its story. You can have the best animation in the world yet the whole thing will suck if its a lame story. As long as you continue and practice, your art will improve natr4ualy as you tell your stories. You made real efforts to amke it good, and you didnyt succumb to the old lazy method of using stick figures as those who never advance in thier art tend to do. They only advance in limnite ways in thier animaton, while you seem to amke real efforts to improve on all aspects of your work.

Story may be told more interesting

That was nice. You can improve your technique in order to make the same story more interesting or atractive, but the main concept wasn't bad and the ending followed its mood.
The story of the jelous pal who steals the girlfriend of the hero its a pretty common one, but you decide how to tell it best. You animation reminded me games like Toki (an arcade and Sega Genesis game) and comedy cartoons that involve an abusive and though guy, a skinny one and a pretty girl... My point is, I liked your version of the story but you still need to work out your storytelling abilities. Study the movies / games / books you like and see what makes you like them... Well, that's if you want to be good telling stories, you may only want to learn to make things look good, it's up to you.
Learning to use a tool, anyone can do it with time, but the content of what you make with the tool, well, that's another thing.

By the way...don't judge my review on my animations, I haven't put really in practice anything about good storytelling yet, they're just lame exercises.

the animation could be a tad cleaner, but the story spoke to me. good job! flash interactiveness makes watching flash movies that much better. but for next time, make sure to make the end text a movie clip or graphic if you want it to be less interfering, more ductile and malleable, and easier to read.
