Welcome to our latest title, "My Word!". As you've probably guessed, this isn't an epic post-apocalyptic RPG but is in fact a word puzzler in a similar vein to PopCap's "Bookworm". Having spent nearly a year on the latest Knightfall game you'd think that another block puzzler would be the last thing we'd want to work on, but we've been sitting on this concept for a while now and thought it was about time we developed it!
The idea is simple enough - you are presented with a 9x5 grid of letters, but you can only use the bottom row to form words. Words can be spelt either by selecting letters with the mouse or by typing the desired letter on the keyboard. If you enter a valid word then the letters you used will vanish, to be replaced by the letters above. It's this element which makes the game tricky as you'll need to think ahead to avoid having a bottom row spelling out something like "AIOUIEUIO", from which you won't be able to make many words at all! If you do find yourself in this situation then you can click the "jumble" button which will randomise the entire board at a cost of a quarter of your score - this comes in handy early on, but later in the game you might wish to call it a day, particularly if you've amassed an insane score.
Anyway, enough waffling on - full instructions can be found in the "How to play" section, where Professor Penciltop will be your host. Thanks for playing and we look forward to hearing what you think of the game!
