I don't know too much...
But I think if you make it all in Flash that it will normally save as a .swf. You don't need to encode it at all.

My first attempt to render into Flash...consequently i suspect it hasn't worked! I thought 139kb was a little small... back to the drawing board...
I have a PowerPC G5 with Flash CS3 and CS3 Video Encoder, and the original format is m4v... I have exported to .swf which plays on my desktop, but 139kb for a 2.30 project?!! any foolproof advice for someone new to flash who just wants to share his goddamn movie?!
Can't upload the html Flash generates... can't download the newgrounds lead-in coz it's a zip... fuck. How hard can it be?!! I've taken the file down as of 22:00 GMT 26.10.10. Anyway, the fucking thing is on youtube and i reckon it's JOLLY FUNNY!!! Mmm...

It was just a white screen. On Windows 7 running Google Chorme 7 with Flash 10.1 .
