Easter Egg version is now on Albino Black sheep. See if you can find all 10 Easter Eggs.

Optional Questions:
- Was his mustache too active (the wider he opens his mouth the more it uncurls)?
- Would additional sound effects (ie, noise on punch, boom on explosions) be a good idea or would it add "audio clutter"?

Problems Already Acknowledged:
- Too short
- Too much coming too fast

33 seconds of 16-bit madness!

If this is too big for your screen press ctrl - (-) to zoom out.

In the off chance that anyone's wondering: yes, I made these sprites myself.

Not bad

The frantic pace wasn't really bad per se, I mean hell, it gives it good replay value right? (wtf did I just see?) The song was okay, I mean it suited the insanity quite well. All the sprites looked good, and I think it's really cool that you made them yourself. Too short? Yeah, it could be longer...

As for your questions, I don't think mustache was too active. It was just funny and added to the pure insanity of the flash. As for adding sound effects...I didn't really see where it was necessary. I mean I watched the whole thing and at no point did it occur to me, "hey, this needs sound effects!" It just kinda looked like it was the nature of the animation. I suppose you can try and add some at low volume, and see if it looks okay...not sure.

All in all it seemed to flow well. I liked the totally random insane style of it. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for reviewing. I'm glad someone appreciates the sprites, they took a long time to make. As for the sound effects I guess I'll keep them out and the other guy who answered my questions seemed to agree on the mustache.

Not bad

A seemingly random stretch of scenarios thrown together to a slightly annoying tune that somehow grows on you after a while. I can see this going further, though I am not sure where this would lead. The way that the various parts of this are disconnected is a little iffy for the context of the piece and it does look a little disjointed for my liking.

The different things that the Russian does, particularly the Tetris sketch, which leads to some sort of skydiving escapades. With the way that that was conceived, I'd quite like to see you develop this particular part further and perhaps make a whole episode devoted toward that part.

Thanks for your input. All the sketches do go together. If you watch again, after the first scene think: "What do you do on a Saturday?". As for the song you're the second person to mention some degree of displeasure in the music (which suggests I should be more careful when looking for a song to use).

As for the developing Tetris sketch it would be somewhat difficult to think of something that hasn't already been done (albiet with stick figures, but still). But I'm glad you seem to like that part.

Again Thanks for your input.

Brilliant, now I'm having a fit!

33-seconds of 16-bit madness is a perfect description!
I thought it was awesome, complete madness.
Very nice art style, the animation is sublime and the whole thing is really well edited together.
I don't think it's too fast or too short.
When you animate something it's very tempting to have it play for longer than necessary just because you spent time making it.
The whole point of the animation is to have it all move and cut quickly, that's why it works so well.
The only disappointing aspect is that you can't play the game!

Well done.

Oh, and to answer your additional questions- It doesn't need additional SFX and a mustache can't possibly be too active!

Surn responds:

So you're saying the frantic pace was not a flaw but a good thing? Interesting. Thanks for your review.

Surn responds:

This is helpful, I didn't really realize the music was bad (I made the same mistake with "Made in China") but yeah, it does have an irritating tone to it. Thank you very much.
