Hey! To start this decade right, we believe Newgrounds should be ad-free for EVERYONE. For this to work, we need people who have the means to become paying supporters. For just $3 per month or $25 for the year, you can help this happen and get some nice perks!

For the month of February we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 203 people to reach our goal of 3,100 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in March!

This is some really simple script I messed around with and turned into a tutorial. Hopefully people can learn from it!

Perfect

I love how you can bounce the ball to the "next" button, and at the end, it's beast how you click and it makes those seizurey things, I wonder why it only rated 2.83?

Kwing responds:

Thanks Adam. Not sure why you would want to read an AS2 tutorial in the first place, though, seeing as you don't have Flash.

Well explained -

- However there are more efficient ways of doing this, for example recording the last x, y coordinates and storing them in code, avoiding the need to create an empty movieclip to do it for you. Also, I know this wasn't really part of the tutorial, but the circle collision for the buttons wasn't great, it was bouncing off at the wrong angles ;) and if you moved your mouse after touching the button you could move the ball without it being dragged.

Ohh and add a mute button.

The thing after the main tutorial was pretty cool though.

Kwing responds:

Thanks... Sorry it's kind of buggy :P
