It's Tia's birthday, and she's looking forward to beating all of her friends with the new card her dad gave her! Beat the other kids by choosing the right cards, and earn more cards until you're the best of them all!

And don't go into the woods, or the guards will kill you.

is the monster still alive or is it just a skeleton?

Clever and Well-Executed

At first I thought the game seemed silly and rather pointless, but I decided to give it a chance. I quickly realized I had a choice between playing cards with the other kids and checking out the trees. I chose the card game first, all the while noting the theme of the cards and getting more and more curious about why we were in the camp. Then I played again, choosing this time to venture out of the compound, all the while prepared to run back if someone started shooting at me. Although I knew something strange was going on, I was nevertheless surprised by what I discovered.

The extreme difference between the two goals created a sense of realism that I have never experienced in a game before. I felt like I had a genuine choice about what to do, rather than being railroaded along to a single ending. It felt less like a game and more like a second - if small - world with more than a single story to share.

Great game. Short but sweet.

Great game. The first time I played it, I got the card ending. It was mildly amusing in the first play-through. The only two things that really struck me as odd were the comment Dad says about the guards, and the video cameras that kept tracking my movements. I did however decide to obey him. On my second play-through, I played some card games and then I ventured into the woods. Very cool and creepy 2nd ending. I love how the cards tell the story of what is discovered in the woods. I'd love to see more games like it.

i loved this game.first i played it and thought,"meh kinda lame in a way.ill just go get myself shot in the forest".then when i got through and thought "where are the guards".then i saw the dead body, the screens, the monster, and thought that it was a good idea to use what had really happened to earth with the cards
