It's Tia's birthday, and she's looking forward to beating all of her friends with the new card her dad gave her! Beat the other kids by choosing the right cards, and earn more cards until you're the best of them all!

And don't go into the woods, or the guards will kill you.

Wow, the story itself was pretty good, like, this whole town sorrounded by trees and all these people tought that if they went outside they would get killed, but no, there weren't guards anymore, I think that some kind of nuclear war happened. The card system wasn't very good tough, maybe if there were more kids to play with it'd be better. But anyway, nice game 5 (Five) stars.

Very good storyline and ending('s). just spice it a bit up and it would be a hit!

I thought this was pretty interesting! However, the card game wasn't very...fleshed out. If there was a whole town to go through, that would be pretty cool, but I think I counted...six kids? Not saying that it wasn't enjoyable, though. It was awesome, just short-lived. I think I'd love to learn more about the world Tia lives in. I thought the town and the surrounding area was fascinating. And I adore The MOTHER Series, so this was a huge wave of nostalgia for me. I think the only sprite that looked a bit odd was that of her Uncle Jack, which didn't look quite like it had been decomposing for what appears to be decades. Other than that, I loved it, but I think I would like to see a longer version next time.

Wow! Played this last night and opened up a Newgrounds account just so I could write a review. Really loved this game. Very clever. Completely fulfils my desire to combine SNES-rpg story-based game with things that make you think. And quite successfully disturbing.

Amazing game but 1 (probably fail) question, what was the large white object at the end of the "War" ending? It's been puzzling me for a while.
