I really enjoy this.
The way the game is set up, every random map doesn't have the same as the last. The only issue I have is the fact that when your defenses aren't sufficient enough, all your survivors go into headless chicken mode. I mean, I can try to set up another defense line before the zombies reach that point, but none of the survivors even try to make anything. It's just a domino effect and that is really the hardest part of any map you play - beating the enemy who broke through the defenses.
Also, it would be nice if the sniper towers had some sort of constitution, meaning they survive more than one hit.
The best way I found to expand is to build a guard tower, upgrade it fully, kill any zombies in the area, then expand there. The idea of adding more people to a tower to add accuracy is brilliant, but I hate having to click up and down on population. I'd love to see an "empty" or "maximum" button for quick toggling, because near the end I usually have a group of towers and it sucks having to click each one and up the max people allowed. If the zombies break through and start getting too close to your towers, scuttle/flee from them, and every other structure nearby. Gain some distance far enough to build another tower, max occupancy, and some barricades around it. The closer you are to zombies, the more people just panic and sit there waiting to die (and deserve to in my opinion).
Please make a sequel, and if you add XP and upgrade shit to it, it will be game of the fucking year. :3
Thanks for the review! FYI, shift-clicking on the plus or minus buttons changes the quota by 5. You can also use the plus or minus keys as hotkeys for survivors (or boards in barricades). Hopefully that helps a bit. :)
this game teach me how to use "human resource" to defend "ZOMBIES"~~~~~
not bad!~ good work!!! I"m from TAIWAN, and this map spend me some times to design~ you can try it!~ (%u611F%u6FC0%u4E0D%u76E1!~)=thank you guys very much!

I have some ideas if you decide to update/make a second version,
1.Metal Resource - Alternate resource from wood, Slightly harder to find.
2.Metal Barricades - Stronger then the usual barricade, Needs metal instead of wood.
3.Pistol Towers - Alternate tower, Survivor is armed with a Pistol, Less damage but a bit more accurate,
4.Tower Accuracy Suggestion - As enemies get closer, I think it would be realistic to have the towers accuracy on that preticular target to increase,
5.Shotgun Towers - Alternate tower, Survivor is armed with a Shotgun, Higher damage but less range, Same accuracy as the Sniper Tower.
- Incredibly addicting
- Simple, yet innovative
- huge range of difficulty which rewards experience and strategy
- Little repetitive due to lack of variety
- AI can sometimes be a little stupid, (I think of the survivors "panicking" )
- Really only one mode of play
Seriously one of the best RTS games on the site. Keeps you playing for hours. The only issues I have are 1- there isn't enough variety, and 2- there is only one strategy which you use through the game. Some simple fixes, (I highly suggest you merely upgrade the game instead of make a second version), is to have the map editor have missions, (blowing the bridge and clearing the city is fun, but we need something else!), add a few different types of towers, and add more variety to the zombies. Another incredibly fun idea is to add an element of fire. When a tile catches on fire, it can create a fire which burns adjacent squares. This would allow map makers to make really cool custom maps.
If you add a few of these ideas, I could easily see this being a "best of" game.
More of a Tower defense game with resource collection than an rts.
Buuuuuuut. Fun to play, very fun infact.
At times i thought it would be nice to have different towers/weapons to fight the zombies but i suppose snipers are the best anti zombie unit.
Maybe you could of allowed the survivors build traps, slowing zombies or killing a massive bunch.
I found the campaign easy enough never to even think about barricades - however if you added different zombie enemies - agile or just extremely hard to kill e.g Zombies with... Helmets it would provoke the player to use barricades to slow the agile ones down and to give snipers enough time to kill the more harder to kill ones other than this small gripe i believe this game is great.
A well deserved 10/10 and 5/5
I hope to see an expanded version of this >:3
P.s Loved the custom map system - although some custom maps are just white snice the builder built nothing left it and uploaded it. :/
