Defeat the zombies while managing multiple resources in this hybrid RTS game. Try a random map after the campaign.

The game consists of building towers, managing the resources needed by those towers (and the location of those resources), collecting more resources from cleared out buildings, and using resources to expand and destroy zombies.

Browse the online map database!

Shift-click to place multiple of the same item.
Shift-click on plus or minus buttons to change quota by 5.
+/- are hotkeys for changing survivor quota (board quota in barricades).

Could of been better....

A lot more work could of been put into this, a lot more things to do like manage the survivors maybe have options if one of the survivours if infected to kill him something like that. I doubt anyone being able to be in a heavily zombie occupyed building without being bitten or attacked. maybe a machine gun tower or possibly flame thrower tower could of been added and maybe you might have to collect water or food.

good but...

Great game and fairly unique as I see it but a couple of issues got me annoyed:
1.I liked the supply chain idea but it didnt always work. if I built a new sniper at the end of the chain I'd still see people running ammo back to the start despite the quota being up at the new and down at the old. lost quite a few snipers that way.
2. I like the speed of the game and you need it that speed to give you chance to keep up, but there were times that i was sat waiting for the zombies to catch up or for resources to be harvested and I felt like a 2x button would have been useful.
3. the shift-click stuff didnt work for me. not really a problem but thought you should know!

other than that, really good concept and well implemented.

This is a brilliant game, absolute genius.
And looking at some reviews, it appears that the majority of complaints can be fixed by sending people to play the tutorial, which is always a good sign. However, I do beleive the AI needs to be upped. Not the zombie AI, they are pretty convincingly zombie-like, seeing as how they are meant to be stupid. However, the survivor AI appears to be incredibly stupid. For example, in the middle of a zombie horde, zombies broke through my lines in one zone. What do the civilians do? Run into a dead end and get eaten. Thirty survivors dead in about ten seconds.

Great Game

I've been sitting here for 4 hours trying to beat a random Expert map.

This game is exceptional. To address some of the comments I've seen other people posting:

-It's perfectly possible for your inventory at the top to go into the negatives. That number reflects your net ammo/wood/survivors. If you set your buildings to stock more of whatever supply type than you currently have, it'll go into negatives.

-It's not a real-time strategy game, where you move your units around. If you try to force them to bring your supplies along with you you'll quickly confuse the AI and get in trouble. The idea is that you create a line or web of linked supply depots, each with at least 1 survivor. That way whenever you need resources they can be passed along the chain to where they need to go.

The one bug I ran into was that at one point I think I accidentally right-clicked, and all of a sudden I could only change the values in increments of 5, which was one of the weirdest bugs I've ever seen.
