Battle Formation

Battle Formation is a turn based Strategy war game.
At the beginning of each level, you can see the formation of your enemy, then plan your moves.
The key to win is knowing the behaviour of your units.
Believe us, it's not about the numbers, it's about tactics.
Create a formation, press the button, then relax and enjoy the battle.

Firefox updated today, so that might be the issue, but:
When I click play, I get to the main menu, then none of the buttons work.
Can't play the game now.

I enjoyed the game a lot. however I also experienced the issue of the game glitching out at level 18, Massacre. I killed every unit and the general, however it proceeds to the failure screen. This seems to be a bug and not a proper finish since it is obvious there is about 7 more levels after this, and the cavalry unit has not been introduced. the unit placement is an issue, I found turning off the animations makes the mission times more bearable to wait through.

So in all I enjoyed the game, I would like to finish it eventually if the bug is fixed and it would be great if some of the other suggestions such as introducing clickable abilities during battle or easier unit placement was introduced.

Thanks,

Mrpoochie.

One of the better flash games, but the final battle that you "can't win, nothing you can do" was not too tough with a good strategy. The battle failed to end when I defeated all enemy units, then eventually I "lost" after a number of turns not being able to move (because I reached the enemy hero's tile.)

The defender wasn't worth much considering it costs much more than spear men that are already well upgraded. Cav units never unlocked for either side.

Was a fun game, but doesn't really have replay since the battles are not random.

playtest it

It looks as though you didn't playtest it, creating a formation is too long and tedious, if you did something as simple as using the number keys to select the troop type and closing the menu with the enter button so you can click on a new square it would be a much better game. Also you can't switch off the music without switching off the sound as well.

Good game but...

There's a glitch, you can remove your general but then you can't get him back
