This is April & Booster vs Ultra Fleet of the Havoc Elite Armada.
Inhale small enemies n bop em out at bigger guys.
It came from a few different ideas, firstly that I hate bullet hell shooters. They are fucking stupid.
Second: I love the Suck Cannon from Ratchet & Clank, I think it's the best idea for a weapon ever and I want a game that's all about that.
Also I wanna make a lovely game where everyone is boundlessly happy like a 5-year-old, but I didn't want it to feel forced like some crappy Dreamworks sequel, but more natural and sincere like an episode of Adventure Time or Boxxy. That was especially hard.

This was originally gonna be an entry in the Power of 3 thing that happened ages ago, but then I put it aside and changed it into a completely different game a few months later.

Everyone's talkin about this like it's a sequel to Robot Dinosaurs but the only real similarities are that it's a horizontal shooter. I guess it has a big name aswell but whatever, that wasn't my intention.

Anyway, have fun with it!

Can I have some more, sir?

I thoroughly enjoyed this one: took me a couple tries to get through it, but I kept coming back for more! I'm a big fan of simple games like this, but your playful art gives it that magic spark that gives it something more - well done! I especially liked the one scene where you could see the "Elite Armada" destroying the city in the background: simple things like that add so much to a game.

You clearly know what you're doing, and I very much look forward to seeing what you come up with next!

Loveable wonderful cute fun bit of fluff game! Well done indeed. The spider boss' missiles were a little too hard to evade to make that boss fight as fun as the others, but it was still a quality go.

I think it could have stood to be longer, but not a -lot- longer. Maybe two-three more segments with bosses would make it about the perfect length. I was only just barely getting the hang of nomming the arrowhead ships and not getting hit by their buddies when the game ended because I beat the final boss.

Graphically and mechanically beautiful and simple, love the little mini-cutscene at the end, and I have to admit I'm curious as to whose robots those are, that's a very distinctive symbol they wear.

Great game

My only real gripes come from the game being too short and too easy, otherwise it's a blast.

Oh and the autopause is nifty, but it can really screw you over at the end vs the final boss's screen clearing attack- dodging to a corner, move the mouse a bit too far out, go to unpause and you're dead because the unpause button is exactly where the boss is.

Fun and Challenging

Funny and cute concept. I didn't know what to expect at first with the Clifford-esque dog inhaling birds and horses and shooting them Kirby style at lazer-toting flying robots. But alas, it was fun! I got especially frustrated with the spider walker robot guy and took me about 7 or so tries to finally down him. The only drawback I could find is it was hard sometimes to keep my mouse from going outside of the game, uh, parameter? It would create a slight lag at times, making dodging missels near impossible. Hence, that damn spider walker guy! Great game in all! I had fun.
