Good start
The basics of a beat'em up were there, but nothing too significant to make this one stand from the crowd. The hit detection was fair for both player and enemy, framerate was good, and the difficulty slowly progressed.
My main complaint is the control. I think the melee and gun should be switched. Most other games like this have the 'primary' attack as the first button on the left, so it was a little confusing smashing the middle button. I also feel like the lack of a jump button could take away from this game, but it's a personal preference for beat'em ups.
